Wooden toy-shop vendor-Monochrome

The struggle to make both ends meet

In my previous post of a road-side seller, I highlighted the struggles of a toy-shop vendor who sits by the street and hopes for a good day at selling his products.

This image was snapped at the same place, Shivanasamudra, Karnataka, India. I decided to put it in monochrome to bring out the reality they face each day while sailing through their day at work.

Passers by hardly stop to see the beautifully carved wooden toys at display. I feel how disheartening it would be to return to work next day with almost the same unsold stuff and a new hope.
